Our Precision Nutrition certified coaches are here to support you at any step of your journey, from learning the basics of good nutrition to pursuing your goals, whether you're looking to build muscle, lose fat, increase your strength, or simply find a healthy relationship with food. 

The Internet is FILLED with questionable detoxes, fad "cleanses," complicated recipes, and overly restrictive diets that are designed to cram your unique self into a one-size-fits-all plan. Frankly, we're over all that. We're here to provide you with a science-based approach to nutrition and wellness that's designed for YOU - using simple behavior modification strategies to create positive change without the stress of “dieting.”

IMAGINE walking into the grocery store knowing exactly what you should eat to feel the way you want to feel! IMAGINE being able to confidently navigate restaurants and social events without falling off the wagon. IMAGINE a way of eating based on what you CAN eat rather than what you CAN'T!  If you're exhausted by diets that don't stick, unsustainable fads, expensive cleanses, or simply trying to navigate the crazy world of health on your own, this program is for you. 

It's not about losing the most weight possible (or even necessarily about losing weight at all!) but about truly rediscovering a healthy relationship with food and exercise that fits in with your real life. We'll tackle some tough issues like learning to ask for/create a support system, recognizing emotional attachments to cravings, navigating social situations, and more.

We're excited to offer nutritional coaching at FUELhouse beginning in 2018. We're here to help YOU create change in your life that will finally stick for good. We're not saying it's going to be easy, we're saying it'll be worth it.

  • A plan that's designed WITH YOU by a certified nutrition coach to get you off the yo-yo diet wagon once and for all. Depending on your needs, your plan may be more skill based or may include recommendations on what and how much to eat. 
  • A 45 minute initial assessment to set your goals, take initial measurements & photos, and learn how to confidently navigate your plan.
  • A 45 minute check-in (either in person or via phone/video chat) to check in on progress, give you a kick in the butt if you need it, answer questions, and help keep you on the right track. This session can be used anytime in your 8 weeks!
  • Intro packet with tons of information you need to be successful, including shopping lists, recipes, knowledge bombs, mindfulness tips, and more
  • Daily progress/skill tracker for you to record bodyweight, measurements, skill practice, stress, you name it (we'll decide what you're tracking in our initial assessment)
  • 8 weekly email check-ins for accountability and to ensure that you are making progress. 
  • Unlimited adjustments to your plan as you progress. 
  • Unlimited access to your coach via email for questions/concerns/bad puns/puppy pictures
  • Guidance for returning to "real life" once your 8 weeks is up.

HEY, what if I just want to book a single session? 

We don't offer any "a la carte" / single consultation sessions until we've worked with you for at least 8 weeks. This is an intentional decision! We've seen so many times over the years that sustainable habit change is about so much more than just us picking apart your diet plan. So often we know what we "should" be doing, but struggle with actually implementing it - and getting better at implementation requires much more than just an hour, face to face. We want everyone to begin with our 8 week coaching program to ensure the information we discuss in our initial assessment comes with lots of opportunity to follow up, correct mistakes, and celebrate accomplishments as you take on your new skills! Our first goal is to build and maintain a healthy relationship with food (and our bodies) to fuel our training and enjoyment of our lives. We eat as much as we need to maintain strength, energy, activity levels and a healthy body weight. We aim for well-balanced nutrition whether you're a meat eater, vegetarian, or anything in between.

We prioritize fresh, minimally processed foods that are nutrient-dense, with lots of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals over foods that have more calories but less nutrition. And food quality is important, too! We choose local, organic foods as much as possible. 

Our meals are well-rounded and balanced, containing nutrient dense sources of protein, fat, and carbohydrates to ensure we have plenty of energy to work hard in the gym. Within that framework, we help you structure your diet with nourishing foods that you'll actually enjoy eating.

Coupled with activity/exercise you actually LOVE, good nutrition can keep your metabolism robust as you age, reduce inflammation, and help you maintain a healthy body composition, energy levels, sleep quality, mental attitude and quality of life.

So many “workout programs” or “diet programs” focus too heavily on one facet of getting healthy and leave you with an unbalanced approach. Our role as coaches is to help you identify your individual challenges to making healthy choices, then overcome them. We don't push meal replacement shakes, cleanses, or any other shortcuts or quick fixes to health. Instead, we create change by teaching nutritional skills and lifestyle modification strategies that will ensure you learn how to make you feel confident and healthy for years to come.
