MEMBERSHIPS

Memberships (both group classes, private training, online remote coaching, and small groups) are billed via automatic, recurring credit card charge each month. Members will be billed on the 1st of the month when beginning a group class membership. Small Group Training payment vary based on program length. Training Groups require a minimum of 3 months' commitment, all other memberships are month-to-month with 30 days' notice required to terminate or otherwise change an account.

Our programming is balanced, progressive, and holistic, and our memberships are designed for those who are serious about committing to their fitness long term (this is why we don't offer punch cards or drop ins). Making life-long changes takes time, and you have to be willing to put in the work.  No one got drastically OUT of shape in a month or two, and no one will get drastically IN shape in a month or two.  We are set on making real change for our members.  If you’re not willing to make that commitment to your health and future then we understand, but this probably isn’t the right fit for you. We spend lots of time talking about things like nutrition, injury prevention/mobility, stress management, and other life stuff, so please be vocal and honest with us about what you've got going on so we can make sure our programming is working for you the way you need it to work!

Our Unlimited Monthly Membership allows access to unlimited classes throughout the week, access to Open Gym times, and free or discounted access to workshops, clinics, special classes, social events, etc. 12 and 8x/Month Members enjoy all of the above with the exception of being limited to 12 or 8 group classes each month. Classes expire each month, there's no rollover of unused classes. Once you've reached your classes, you must pay a drop in fee to attend a class before your membership rolls over or you can upgrade your membership to access more classes. Please give us a min of 7 days notice of any membership change requests regarding an upgrade/downgrade. Please email info@fuelhousegym.com for all membership requests!

Monthly memberships are renewed automatically each month unless FUELhouse is notified via email of cancellation (cancel with 30 day notice)/suspension (hold with 7 day notice). You may opt out for renewal at anytime with a 30 day advanced notice via our cancellation form.  All memberships may be suspended or frozen (minimum 15 days, maximum 3 months per calendar year). There's no fee for this service, but it must be requested in writing via our hold request form. You are responsible for tracking your return date; FUELhouse will not process refunds for unused memberships if you fail to return to the gym once your suspension lifts. Suspensions may be extended for longer than 3 months for special cases, including pregnancy or injury. We may request a note from your doctor/physical therapist outlining your medical restriction from training and/OR ask that you book a 1 hour session with our Rehab Manager, Coach Andrea Perez or one of our onsite Physical Therapists so we are able to best prepare our team for your return to training.

IMPORTANT! When you join our gym you are MUCH more than just a number to us. We pride ourselves on really getting to know our people, including what might be going on in your life outside of the gym, so we can be the best coaches possible for you and ensure your time with us is truly the best hour of your day. We will check in on you via email or text if we haven't seen you for a few weeks, and we are here to help you modify workouts for any needs that you may have - but ultimately it's up to you to show up and make use of your membership. You promise to reach out to use and be vocal with your need for support, guidance, accountability, or help with modifications. You pledge to simply get in the door and do your best on any given day. You understand that communicating in writing about membership/account needs is your responsibility and we cannot be bound to any requests made verbally or via text/FB messenger.

VERY IMPORTANT! Our "Don't Be An A-Hole" Clause

Upon joining, you agree to keep and obey all rules, regulations, and policies in force or in the future prescribed by FUELhouse, for the use of our training facilities, premises, and equipment therein, and we reserve the right to revoke your Membership for cause if you fail to keep or obey any such rules or regulations, or for reasons of nuisance, disturbance of other members or staff, moral turpitude (LOL) or fraud. In plain English? We ask you to be nice, consider the enjoyment of your fellow members, and treat your coaches, the facility, and equipment with respect. This includes listening when coaches are instructing in classes, being on time for classes, cleaning up after yourself, and being open to receiving instruction and generally trying stuff that we know can be challenging or frustrating at times. We pride ourselves on maintaining an open door policy for your thoughts, concerns, and questions as they relate to your experience, gym offerings, programming, etc and we are happy to chat 1:1 to talk through anything that's tough. Our first priority is always YOU and your experience as part of the overall FUELhouse Tribe.

RESERVING YOUR SPACE IN CLASS

  1. Once you have become a member make sure to download the ZENPLANNER MEMBER APP to your smart phone. Search and save FUELhouse to your phone. The mobile app simplifies personal wellness management by connecting YOU with FUEL. Now from your phone you will be able to discover, book, and pay for all your health, fitness, and FUEL activities through one unique login. Hooray!

  2. All members must check in from the ZenPlanner Member app prior to your scheduled class.

  3. Please be considerate to your fellow members! If you sign up for a class and cannot make it, cancelling your reservation through ZenPlanner allows someone on the wait list to take your spot. This doesn't happen often, but we reserve the right to charge repeat offenders a penalty fee because it's super uncool to prevent someone who wants to attend a class from being there (see above "Don't Be An A-Hole" Clause).

NO SHOW POLICY

There are three types of group class cancellations:

  • Early Cancellations: Class reservations may be canceled with no penalty, anytime prior to 8 hours before the scheduled start time.

  • Late Cancellations: If you discover that you will be unable to make a class, and you’ve missed the early cancel window, we ask that you Late Cancel your reservation. This courtesy will allow another member to book your spot.  You have between 8 hrs and the scheduled start time of class to “late cancel”. You will be charged a late cancellation fee of $12 but you won’t lose a class if you are an 8 and/or 12x/month member. In the Member App, you will see a message that will alert you with exactly what will happen before you cancel, so you can change your mind and still get to class if you wish.

  • No Shows: Once again, you have the ability to cancel up to 8 hours before any class to give others the time they need to prepare.  If you fail to show for a class, you will be charged a No Show Fee of $12 and it will count against your membership attendance for 8 and/or 12x/month group class members.

  • Please, we beg, do not text or call any FH Coach asking to take you off the class roster (your message automatically gets lost in the ether). Just simply follow the rules and everyone will be ok!

  • No show/ late cancel charges will be processed at the end of every week.

*These policies do not pertain to Virtual Class members!

WAITLIST

How to Use the Waitlist

If your preferred class is full, you may opt to add yourself to the waitlist via ZenPlanner Member App. Here are some important guidelines for managing your waitlist requests:

  • You should only waitlist yourself for one class per day.

  • If you already have a reserved class on the same day, you should cancel your current reservation before adding yourself to a waitlist for a different class.

  • If you sign up for a class then ALSO sign up for a waitlist to play the odds, that’s cheating. It makes it hard for other members to book, because you’re taking two spots. And then they will be angry with Molly. And their wrath is not to be trifled with!

  • Once you’ve made it off the waitlist you will automatically receive either a text message or email notifying you that you have made it off the waitlist. If you do not respond within the specified time frame (2 hours), the system will send a message to the next member on the waitlist.

Note: In order to get waitlist notifications from ZP, you must opt in to receive emails and/or texts in the “My Info” section user profile. Reach out if you need assistance in changing your settings.

PERSONAL & GROUP TRAINING

There is a 24 Hour Cancellation Policy on all PT sessions.  Cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled session will result in a charge. Individuals who are severely deconditioned or have significant health or orthopedic issues are strongly encouraged to start with Personal Training.

KIDS AND DOGS

FUELhouse prides itself on being a kid friendly gym. But in the interest of keeping everyone as safe and focused on their fitness as possible, we’ve updated our policies regarding our favorite tiny humans and creatures. If you have a child or dog, please review these policies.

KIDS POLICY

  • No kids are allowed on the gym floor.

  • Kids need to be able to sit in the lounge area unattended, which means they are not a distraction to others, and are not a danger to themselves or others.

  • Kids should not be in the way of group class (i.e., when a class is running in and out of the gym).

  • The staff is not responsible for your kids.

  • Please be mindful of your stroller (strollers are not allowed on the gym floor and must be out of the way of classes).

  • Make sure you’ve provided your kiddos with the proper distractions that they will need while you are attending class (iPad, books, games, snacks, etc.

FURRY FRIENDS POLICY- they are welcome to say hello at our front door but we do not allow dogs in the gym.

SNOW POLICY

Depending on forecasts, school closures and a bit of good old-fashioned common sense, we will notify our members of any cancelations a minimum of 2 hours before scheduled classes that same day or by 10PM informing you of any changes for the following day’s schedule.

We will be announcing any changes to our schedule on Facebook and Instagram and via email/text. If you are a private personal training client please communicate directly with your Coach!

Should weather conditions change overnight and our plans change, we will immediately post our updates in our private Facebook group and send you a brief email/text message by 5AM with any last minute updates.

This is a great time to take these steps and/or confirm:

  1. That the email and mobile phone number we have associated with your membership is accurate in the Zen Planner Member App, and that you have “opted-in” to receiving notifications from FH. You can update via the ZP app on your phone.

  2. Please take the extra step to make sure that you receive our email newsletters by “opting in” to email communications. Follow these steps to make sure you are on our list:

    • Email Hayley and request to be re-subscribed to all email communications if you are currently not receiving our monthly newsletters and announcements!

  3. You are in our private Facebook members group and follow @fuelhousegym on Instagram.

We will not abuse the texting system and bombard you with useless information. We respect your down-time and want to help you preserve it as best we can.

The No Show/Late Cancelation Policy is not in effect during snow days in Seattle.

SICKNESS POLICY

If you have tested positive for Covid-19, please follow the latest CDC guidelines for isolation information, etc. In addition, please email info@fuelhousegym.com, molly@fuelhousegym.com and hayley.magwire@gmail.com letting us know you’ve tested positive with information regarding the last time and day you attending a training session at FH.
