Kari is our in house Canadian if you have somehow missed that data point. There is not a class that goes by that there is not at least a mention of that. Growing up in Vancouver, sports were always apart of Kari's life. When finally going off to college it only seemed fitting that Human Kinetics would be her chosen educational path at the University of British Columbia. Kari found her way down to Seattle by means of her husband Adam (also known as Gary, which can really confuse people).
She is an outdoor enthusiast, but not in the PNW kind of way. She loves snowboarding back home, as well as spending time paddle boarding nearby lakes or vacationing to the ocean to swim and surf.
She has now been in the fitness world for over 10 years! With numerous certifications to her name, she found her place at Fuelhouse by joining the StrongFirst ranks as a kettlebell instructor. Kari believes exercise is a pertinent part of daily living and routine, but it HAS to be fun, or else why do it. Personal Training is also another way she fills her days, from 1:1 sessions to small groups, she can help you keep in a routine, rehabilitate from injury, learn all the while enjoying yourself with her quick wit and energy!
